View Workload Details

This section explains how to view workload details.

Prerequisites

  • Application Management for Cluster Federation should have been installed and enabled.

  • You should join a multi-cluster project and have the Federated Project Viewing permission within the project.

Steps

  1. Log in to the KubeSphere web console with a user who has the Federated Project Viewing permission, and access your multi-cluster project.

  2. Click Application Workloads > Workloads in the left navigation pane.

  3. On the Workloads page, click Deployments or StatefulSets to open the workload list.

  4. On the Deployments or StatefulSets tab, click the name of a workload to enter the workload details page.

  5. On the workload details page, view the workload’s resource attributes in the Attributes area on the left.

    Parameter Description

    Project

    The project to which the workload belongs.

    App

    The name of the app to which the workload belongs. You can create an app that includes multiple services, each corresponding to a workload.

    Creation Time

    The creation time of the workload.

    Update Time

    The update time of the workload.

    Creator

    The user who created the workload.

  6. On the workload details page, view the number of pod replicas, container ports, and pods for the workload in the Resource Status tab on the right.

    Parameter Description

    Pod Replicas

    The current and desired number of pod replicas for the workload in each cluster.

    Ports

    The port name, protocol, and port number of the containers managed by the workload.

    Pods

    All pods running in the workload. Expand the dropdown to view pod information for specific clusters.

    • Click chevron-down to view information about the containers running in the pod.

    • Click the name of the pod to view container details.

    • Enter keywords in the search box above the pod list to search for pods whose names contain specific keywords.

    • Click Refresh in the upper-right corner of the pod list to refresh the information.

  7. On the workload details page, click the Metadata tab on the right to view the workload’s labels and annotations.

  1. On the workload details page, click the Events tab on the right to view events related to the workload.

    Parameter Description

    Type

    The type of the event, including Normal and Warning.

    Reason

    The reason for the event.

    Occurred

    The time when the event occurred.

    Source

    The component that reported the event.

    Message

    The content of the event message.
